A gorgeous antique, hand painted porcelain berry bowl set. 7 pieces in total-1 larger bowl and six fruit nappies (measurements are on the photos). Hand painted beautifully with sweet floral displays, and signed by the artist ( I can only make out the initials EG). The set is stamped O & EG (Oscar & Edgar Gutherz) Austria, and indicates a date of manufacture between 1899 to 1918. The condition is exceptional. And it is at least 100 years old.
Aside from some errant paint smudges and over run on the back of a couple of pieces-due to being hand painted-this antique set is in excellent condition. Each bowl pings like a bell! No cracks, crazing, chips or repairs.
