Absolutely beautiful 7.75 inch figural plate depicting Beatrice, of Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing”. Made in Austria. Green and brown floral swags tied with bows circle the periphery. A green band covered in gold trims the plate. Scalloped edges with gold trim. Circa 1883-1914.
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some gold wear to one of the thin inner gold circles. The plate pings nicely.
