This is possibly a mismatch as the saucer has a mustard yellow whereas the teacup is a sunnier shade of yellow. However-this is an extremely rare set, and I have not been able to find it anywhere-so I do find it difficult to believe it is a mismatch-however-you be the judge. It truly is a fantastic set! Aynsley corset shaped teacup and saucer, made in England. Inside the teacup, the saucer centre, and the teacup handle-what I describe as an intricate spiderweb of gold. Trimmed in gold. Numbered 4847 on both pieces. Excellent vintage condition. A faint bit of fading to the gold inside the centre of the saucer-as pictured. No chips, cracks or repairs.
