Stunning cabinet plates by Oscar & Edgar Gutherz, Royal Austria. Hand painted Gloire de Dijon (Climbing Rose) heavily gilded plates, signed by the artist. I absolutely love the ethereal beauty of these plates and the beaded gold around the periphery. The roses are sublime. Approximately 6 inches diameter. Priced individually. Hard to believe that these plates are 100+ years old (circa 1898-1918).
Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. I try my best to describe any obvious flaws but it is up to the buyer to decide if the condition of our vintage or antique offerings meet their standards.
