A very pretty hand decorated floral duo from Victoria C & E (Cartwright & Edwards) made in England. A crisp white background with wide bands of vibrantly coloured blooms inside the teacup and surrounding the saucer. The pattern is “Peony”. The backstamp dates this set to 1936.
Aside from a tiny bit of fine crazing on the back of the teacup handle, this set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Both pieces ping nicely.
